On May 11, 2020 EDT (Eastern Daylight Saving Time), Global Tone Communication Technology Co., Ltd. ("GTCOM") officially initiated a partnership with Bloomberg L.P. ("Bloomberg") and became the organization's collaborator in the realm of financial data services.

Bloomberg L.P. announced on February 21, 2019 that its "instant" data service system, Bloomberg Enterprise Access Point (BEAP), started to provide alternative data services. The industry-leading data platform provided by Bloomberg has abundant resources from data users and enjoys a solid reputation among financial service ecosystems.

GTCOM is among the first suppliers of comprehensive financial data services to receive such an invitation from Bloomberg. In order for this to occur, there were several rounds of assessment and testing by Bloomberg in regard to the algorithms of financial alternative data analysis, model development, industrial research and analysis, and data value mining. Upon several prudential negotiations, the two companies finally built up a partnership. Through cooperation with Bloomberg, GTCOM will be connected with Bloomberg's vast customer base of buyers and sellers across the globe. The product, technology and marketing teams of both companies will collaborate in product planning, technology R&D and marketing so as to offer comprehensive financial services based on alternative data for the benefit of a global clientele.

NASDAQ acquired Quandl, an alternative-data service provider, in December 2018. Refinitive made investment in BattleFin, a U.S.-based start-up that delivers alternative data services, and then developed its proprietary system. S&P Global launched alternative data services on Marketplace. Bloomberg Enterprise Access Point marked a milestone in financial alternative data services, which indicated that financial alternative data services has become a significant strategic direction for top providers of financial information and data services.
